DTS Ventures

DTS Ventures is a focused investment platform that develops real assets and businesses in the United States and abroad. The approach is practical and long term.

We look for a few things. Real estate projects with clear ways to create value. Businesses that can grow and improve over time. And financial assets or trades where the potential reward makes sense relative to the risk.

The goal is simple. Build and own quality assets. Improve how they operate. And be thoughtful about when and where to take risk in both private and public markets.

Short and long term rentals in Latin America
Developed and operated a mix of short and long stay rental properties in select Latin American markets. Work included sourcing land and buildings, overseeing improvements, and building simple but effective operating playbooks.
Hands on involvement with local partners, on the ground management, and guest experience, with a focus on cash flow, resilience, and repeat demand.
Urban infill multifamily development
Backed a sponsor on a ground up multifamily project in a growing U.S. market. Focused on buying well, thoughtful design, and a realistic lease up plan.
Role included underwriting support, capital structure input, and ongoing check ins as the project moved through entitlement and construction.
Acquisition of a niche service business
Invested in a recurring revenue service business with strong local relationships and room for operational improvement.
Worked with the team on pricing, basic systems, and a clearer growth plan, with an eye on balancing reinvestment and cash flow.
Opportunistic market trade
Took a defined risk position in public markets during a period of volatility, with a clear thesis, time frame, and exit plan.
Used as a way to express a specific view and to complement longer term holdings, rather than as a stand alone strategy.

Projects in the United States and select international markets. This includes ground up development, repositioning, and value add work across residential, commercial, and mixed use properties.

We care most about location quality, partner strength, and risk adjusted returns, not about chasing volume.

Operating Businesses

Investments in private businesses where capital and hands on work can help cash flows and enterprise value grow over time.

We are especially interested in asset backed businesses, services, and niche operators that serve steady demand.

Financial Assets and Trades

Select opportunities in public and private markets, special situations, and individual trades that fit alongside the core portfolio.

These positions are a way to express conviction, manage risk, or take advantage of mispricing, always with clear downside in mind.
